One day a donkey fell into a hole. The owner saw that the donkey was trapped inside and he could not do anything about it.
Finally he decided to close the hole, thus burying the donkey in it. He called some friends and they started shoveling sand into the hole.
At first the donkey struggled, later it realized that what looked like a life threatening thing, was actually a way out of it.
The donkey dusted off the sand from its body each time they shoveled sand into the hole and stepped on it. Inch by inch the smart donkey moved up and finally managed to set itself free.
The moral of the story is: don't give up no matter what happens. There is always a way out.
